Dayne
Dayne has always had an interest in the outdoors.
After completing a National Diploma in Outdoor Adventure, he went on to obtain Level 1 and 2 Leadership certificates whilst earning his Canoe 3 star award certificate and Outdoor First Aider.
Following this, he grew a stronger passion for Horticulture through growing and selling vegetables on a 1 acre plot as well as undertaking general garden maintenance in the local area. He then went on to study Higher Education in Horticulture, after which, he started the path of self-employment. Since then, he has built a catalogue of competency certificates including NPTC Award in Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross-cutting, NPTC Award in Felling and Processing Trees up to 380mm, Lantra Awards in Safe Application of Pesticide using Hand Held Equipment (PA1A & PA6A).
Helen
Helen has always had a passion and her mind set on working in the Horticulture industry.
After completing her first course Level 3 Extended Diploma in Horticulture, she then received her Foundation Degree in Horticultural Science. She met Dayne on this course and they built the gardening business together. Helen then completed a 1 year placement at RHS Rosemoor and gained a RHS Level 3 Diploma in Horticultural Practice. Throughout these courses, she too has obtained certificates of competency such as NPTC Principals of Safe Handling and Application of Pesticides (PA1A & PA6A), NPTC Certificate in Manually Fed Wood Chipper Operations, NPTC Agricultural Tractor and Related Operations, NPTC Certificate in Hand Held Trimmers and Brushcutting Operations.
